  • Candidate should have passed in HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination with PCM average of not less than 60%

  • English as a separate subject

Course Description

  • DNS Course 1-Year is a course leading to B.Sc.(Applied Nautical Science) after 18 months of sea service and also leading to 2nd Mate Foreign going

Certificate

  •  Certificate of competency awarded by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India, enabling the cadets to become Navigating officers on board Merchant Navy Ships anywhere in the world.

Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) is a one-year pre-sea training program that prepares candidates to become deck officers in the Merchant Navy. After completing this course, candidates undergo sea training and later pursue further exams to become officers.

To enroll, candidates must have:

  • Completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with at least 60% marks.
